Havelock North Scout Group
Who We Are
Welcome from Havelock North Scout Group. We are part of the worldwide Scouting movement and are in the Waipu Zone of Scouts New Zealand. Havelock North Scout Group operates from the Scout Hall located at 24 Napier Road, Havelock North. We meet every week during term time and welcome young people between the ages of 5 and 26 and are open to all genders, ethnicities and religions.
The mission of Scouting is to contribute to the education of young people through a value system based on the Scout promise and law to help build a better world where people are self-fulfilled as individuals and play a constructive role in society.
We believe that through adventure we challenge individuals so that they learn and experience new things that enrich their lives.
